Kasselrijhuis
![]() |
A ‘Kasselrij’ was a province under the auspices of the count’s representatives. They resided in a bailiff’s house. The Kasselrijhuis consists of different parts, referring to a very complex building history. The left side is the oldest part and was built in the 16th century in a simple Renaissance style. The centre dates from 1702 and is in Louis XIV style. The right side was added in 1906. It currently houses Saint Bernard’s College (Hoogstraat 30). |
