Boudewijn Tower

The Tower was probably added to a 12th-century town mansion as a status symbol and is the oldest stone monument in town. The thick walls in limestone from Tournai pierced by small openings and holes are very characteristic. At the moment, it has been restored completely by a private owner and functions as the monumental entrance of Margaretha’s, a restaurant-wine bar located in the adjacent House of Margaret of Parma. |
