In the city centre, the magnificent town hall catches the eye.
However, Oudenaarde also offers a vast variety of smaller monuments, each telling its own rich and eventful history. There are more than 100 classified monuments in the city centre.

Since 2008, pedestrian signposting makes it very easy to find your way around town.
You can find historical information in three languages close to the following monuments and places: Liedts castle, Tacambaro square, Small Market Square, Maagdendale Abbey, Town Hall, Church of our Lady of Pamele, Saint Walburga Church, Hospital of our Lady, Beguinage and House de Lalaing.
