Mater is a charming rural village in the heart of the Flemish Ardennes. Apart from the Saint Martinus church and the Saint Amelberga chapel, there are many other things to see: the Tissenhovemolen and Zwadderkotmolen in the middle of beautiful panoramic views, the local brewery Roman… An event not to be missed is the annual cavalcade of Saint Amelberga on July 10.
