Oudenaarde is situated at line no. 86 (Ghent - Sint Pieters- Ronse) and line no. 89 Denderleeuw-Kortrijk).
The tourist office is located at walking distance from the railway station (15 minutes). You can also take the bus going from the railway station to the market.

 

By car

Coming from Ghent:
At the E17 to Courtrai, you take exit 8 De Pinte/ Zevergem. Via N60 Ghent – Ronse, you can reach Oudenaarde. You take exit Centrum (N8), to the left towards the city centre and under the bridge underneath the railway. The tourist office is located in the Hoogstraat, to the left of the town hall. You can park your car on the market place.

By boat

The yacht-basin is located in an old arm of the Scheldt just outside the town centre, in quiet, green and flowery surroundings. The jetty is 350 m long and is fully accessible for wheelchairs.

For further information concerning docking and mooring prices you can contact the harbour master, Mr. Lucien De Waele. He and his wife will welcome you cordially.
